About Don Jorgensen
Don Jorgensen is a seasoned trial attorney and founder of Jorgensen Law, representing wildfire victims, injured Californians, and individuals with disabilities across the state. With over two decades of courtroom and litigation experience, Don is known for his integrity, preparation, and results-driven advocacy.
Born and raised in San Diego, California, Don grew up as the youngest of six children in a family that valued honesty, hard work, and service to others. From an early age, he developed a strong sense of justice and a passion for standing up for those who couldn’t stand up for themselves — principles that still guide his practice today.
After earning his degree from Brigham Young University, Don began his legal career in Texas, where he became a full partner at one of Southeast Texas’ leading law firms. There, he gained extensive trial experience, handling government class action lawsuits and complex civil cases that strengthened his resolve to protect ordinary people against powerful institutions.
Returning to California in 2005, Don founded Jorgensen Law to continue that mission. Since then, his firm has grown into a trusted advocate for wildfire victims, injured individuals, and those facing disability claims throughout the state.
